Marie is the Director of Consulting and Investment Services at New York Global Capitalˇs Beijing office responsible for mainland investments and capital raises. The Company provides financial consulting to privately-owned small and medium sized entities in China assisting entrepreneurs to better serve the increasing industrial and consumer markets in China. At NYGC since 2005 Marie specializes in the areas of fund raising through both US capital markets and private investment and has assisted several companies to list and raise funds on the US NASDAQ markets.
Before joining New York Global Group in Beijing, China, Ms. O'Brien was a Transaction Services Manager in the Corporate Finance Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York, performing due diligence advisory reviews for financial and strategic buyers in a broad range of industries. At PwC Marie gained valuable experience with respect to financial, operational and forensic review on both the buy and sell side of various transactions. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Marie served as a manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb in their Global Strategic Sourcing Team, involved in identifying supplier alliance and purchase opportunities for the firm. During this time Marie spent the majority of her time working with the foreign offices in Asia which is where her passion and interest in China and its evolving economy began. Ms. O'Brien started her professional career in the Audit Group of Ernst & Young, LLP in New York working with a series of entertainment and media entities such as Marvel Comics, Polygram, and EMI Music. While at Ernst & Young, she assisted a client base of multi-national companies in preparing initial public offering information and associated SEC filing documents.
Marie is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds an International MBA degree from Peking Universityˇs BIMBA program.
In early 2007 Mr. Müller has overtaken the task to set-up the subsidiary of HEYER Medical AG in China, including sales, service, regulatory affairs, sourcing and manufacture.
Mr. Müller has received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Brunswick Technical University, Germany. He specialized on computer vision, a technology to model human vision by means of cameras and computer software. Computer vision is used in precision manufacture to control the quality of the production process. In 1995 he received the annual award of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM) for his work on analyzing physical properties of surfaces through computer vision.
Mr. Müller came to China as early as 1987, working as research assistant at Chongqing University in Southwestern China. Under his direction the Artificial Vision Lab of Chongqing University developed an optic character reader that made it possible to automate the input of forms of the Chinese census. For his contribution Mr. Müller was awarded the title of “Outstanding Foreign Export” and received by prime minister Li Peng.
In the 1990th Mr. Müller moved to Shanghai, working as Chief Representative for a subsidiary of Siemens. He was responsible project manager for the communications systems of the Metro lines 2 and 3 in Shanghai.
In 2000 Mr. Müller continued his career in the medical industry, taking over responsibility for the operation of B.Braun in Northern China before finally joining HEYER Medical.
Each year Mr. Müller participates in the Beijing International Marathon. Other spare-time interests include Chinese history, politics and culture.
Martin M. Lin is responsible for spearheading Textron's business development efforts in China. With strengths including global vision, leadership, result-oriented performance and culturally adaptive personality, Martin has successfully brought together talents within Textron China leadership team and reignited the team's passion by actively involving in business units' initiatives and pushing cross-functional communications within one year of joining Textron.
Before he joined Textron, Martin was Chief Representative & Managing Director of Rockwell Collins Inc. China since May 2001. In his more-than-20-year career, Martin held increasing management positions within Rockwell Collins, Inc. and former Rockwell International (Overseas) Corporation. He started his assignment in China as Sales Director in 1994, and has been working closely with the Chinese aviation industry ever since. The revenue generated by Rockwell Collins China increased six folds between 1994 and 2009.
Over his 15-year residence in China, Martin has been dedicated to cultivating China’s general aviation industry and accelerating Sino-U.S. trade cooperation. He had served as Chairman of the Aerospace Forum under American Chamber of Commerce in China between 2005 and 2008, and was a founding member of the US-China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP). In 2007, Martin was selected as member of AmCham Washington Doorknock Delegation, voicing American aerospace business in China.
Martin holds a Master Degree of Science from Wichita State University, Kansas and a Master Degree of Business Administration from Rutgers University of New Jersey.
Tianjin Eco-city Animation Park Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
Mr. An is responsible for the construction and operation of a business park for enterprises from animation or creative industry in Tianjin Eco-city. He and his colleagues are planning and designing the animation park of 1km2 using clean technology and renewable energy. During the construction of the animation park, he will assist investors from creative industry to set up their business in Eco-city including application of government incentive polices, business license and approvals, etc. When the construction is accomplished, he will also be responsible for providing property management service for the tenants and promoting the business park.
Tony has been working for a Hong Kong construction management firm and a local real estate developer. He was involved in some construction projects such as a mechanical assembly plant of Caterpillar in Tianjin, a reservoir and a viaduct project in Hong Kong, and marketing strategy research of a large-scale commercial building complex of 400,000 sqm2 in Tianjin.
Mr. An also has 7 years experience of working as government official in Tianjin Economic Development Area. His job at TEDA is to promote the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. He successfully assisted 12 companies to set up their business in TEDA including 3 well-known foreign bio-pharmaceutical enterprises.
Tony is fluent in English and his native language is Chinese. He received a Master’s degree of Business Administration from Nankai University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tianjin University.
